Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Software Licenses

1. License Purchases:
   • All software license purchases are final once the license key has been delivered to the customer.
   • Customers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the software has not been activated or used.
   • Refunds for software licenses are subject to a 15% administrative fee.
2. Subscription-Based Licenses:
   • Subscriptions may be canceled at any time by providing written notice at least 30 days before the next billing cycle.
   • No refunds will be provided for the current billing period once it has begun.
   • Unused subscription time will not be refunded if a customer chooses to cancel mid-cycle.
3. Trial Versions:
   • If you have purchased a license after using a trial version, you are considered to have tested the software’s functionality and determined it meets your requirements.
   • No refunds will be issued based on functionality issues that were present in the trial version.

Implementation Services

1. Project Cancellation:
   • Customers may cancel implementation services at any time by providing written notice.
   • For fixed-price implementation projects:
     • Cancellation prior to commencement: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
     • Cancellation after commencement: Prorated refund based on percentage of work completed, minus a 15% administrative fee.
2. Hourly Services:
   • Services billed at an hourly rate are non-refundable once the hours have been delivered.
   • Unused prepaid hours may be refunded, subject to a 15% administrative fee.
   • Unused prepaid hours are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
3. Satisfaction Guarantee:
   • If you are not satisfied with our implementation services, you must notify us in writing within 5 business days of service delivery.
   • We will work with you to resolve any issues or provide a partial refund at our discretion, depending on the circumstances.

Force Majeure

Refunds will not be issued for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or global pandemic restrictions.

How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a refund or cancel a service, please contact our customer support team at support@pivotlabsgroup.com with the following information:

• Your full name
• Purchase order number or invoice number
• Date of purchase
• Reason for refund/cancellation request

We will respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days and will be issued using the original payment method.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this refund and cancellation policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
